Payments

Accept Mobile Money online.

Your customers pay with their Mobile Money account. Use our hosted payment page, or charge them directly from your own form through the API.

The Notch Pay checkout on a phone: the customer enters their Mobile Money number and the operator is detected.

Hosted payment page or direct charge

Both use the same dashboard, webhooks and balance: you can start with the hosted page and move to direct charge later.

Hosted checkout

  • Works with our WooCommerce and WordPress plugins

Direct charge

Which payment methods can my customers use?

MTN Mobile Money and Orange Money, for customers in Cameroon.

Do I need to write code?

Not if you sell on WordPress: our WooCommerce, WordPress and GiveWP plugins work without code. For your own website or app, use the API or one of our SDKs.

Can I test before going live?

Yes. Every account includes a test mode with test keys and test Mobile Money numbers that simulate successful, failed, expired and cancelled payments.

Where does the money go?

To your Notch Pay balance. From there you send transfers or withdraw to your own Mobile Money account, from 5,000 FCFA.

Who can open an account?

Businesses, associations and sole traders established in Cameroon. You can test straight away, before your documents are verified.

How do I go live?

Send your documents from the dashboard: an ID, a proof of address and a selfie holding the ID for each representative and, for a company, the RCCM, tax certificate, articles of association and proof of business address. Allow 7 business days for verification; then you switch to your live keys.

Which platforms do you integrate with?

Plugins for WooCommerce, WordPress and GiveWP; SDKs for JavaScript, PHP (with Laravel) and Python; mobile SDKs for iOS, Android, Flutter and React Native. Any other stack can call the REST API directly.
